At Grandslam there are plenty of TV screens to watch sports. You can simultaneously see what’s happening in the cricket, rugby, motor racing (both F1 & MotoGP), tennis, or whatever other sport is being played live. There are plenty of drinks too although a few of the craft brews on tap are often out of stock. The biggest draw may be the view from the deck at sunset though. Looking westward as the sun hits the sky and displays all the wonderful colours the Joburg pollution can throw out. It’s a fine place to spend some time with friends. The service is usually quick and friendly but also expecting tips to reciprocate. The food is good, the old Manny special, a trinchado, is a favourite but the burgers are big and the chips are more like roast potatoes. You should have a large enough portion to keep you filled for a few hours at least.
