Being sensitive to light is the ability to see.
Being sensitive to sound is the ability to hear.
Being sensitive is not a bad thing.
Being sensitive is a superpower.
Being sensitive is how we evolve.
Being sensitive means you can perceive things in the world around you.
If someone says you’re too sensitive, it means you can probably perceive something that they’re oblivious to.
Saying that somebody is sensitive is not an insult. It’s a compliment.
If you’re the person being called sensitive, that’s how you should take it.
As a compliment. Not an insult. Regardless of the tone.
Smile and know that you’re conscious of something that the other person probably is not.
Consider how that gives you an advantage.
Consider how they have a blind spot.
Consider the whole picture that you can see, rather than being wrapped up in the picture that they see. It’s obviously not a full picture. It’s a sliver. It’s narrow. It’s limited.
Don’t limit yourself because somebody else is limited.
Go beyond their limits. But recognise your own.
Then maybe one day you can go beyond your limits too.
Growth and death are inevitable. Give life a good go.
